Eating Nuts May Help You Live Longer!


I've always loved nuts. All kinds of nuts. I remember my mom buying the big bags of mixed nuts in the shells for the holidays.
We'd sit with the bowl on our laps cracking away and picking the tasty meat out of every crevice and savoring the flavors. Little did we know mom knew best!

Just yesterday, a study found regular nut eaters were less likely to die of cancer or heart disease — in fact, were less likely to die of any cause — during a 30-year Harvard study. You can read the entire study at the New England Journal of Medicine

     Now we already know nuts have been called heart-healthy but I think this just shows how eating foods in their natural state is so beneficial to our health. Making small changes can make such a difference in your life!
