Fear of Failure?

Have you ever heard the term, “The Fear of Failure“?
Fear and Failure. The “F” words.
Sadly so many people go through their lives without achieving what they really want because they allow this “Fear of Failure” to stand in their way.
This is kind of ironic since failing is almost always a requirement to enjoying success.
Here are 3 reasons why “Failure” is a GREAT thing!
Inspiration:
If you tried to achieve something a 2nd, 3rd, 10th or 100th time without success, this can be a strong motivator to continue on and say “I am going to accomplish it This Time”
Humility:
We all have times when we have achieved some successes and our ego can get in our way. A failure can sometimes bring us back to reality and back on track to moving forward.
Learning:
When you were a child, how did you learn to walk and talk? Did you just wake up one day and were walking and talking? Of course not. It took day after day of trying, failing, learning from mistakes, and trying again. As adults we sometimes need to remember the lessons of our childhood. As children, we don’t take failure personally, and just continue learning and adapting until “mission accomplished“.
If you are not failing, you are not growing and will miss out on great opportunities to succeed!
I suggest going to bed each night and asking yourself: “Did I fail today?” If so, CONGRATULATIONS! Analyze why, think about what you could do differently and try again with a new plan!
Do not “Fear Failure”! Expect it, be excited for it and be willing to learn from it. Failure is the way to achieving success in all areas of your life.
I would love to hear YOUR stories of how you failed in some area and how you were able to learn from that to succeed.
Please share you comments below.
To YOUR Success,
